Tatiana Charikleia Styliari Ph.D.
Vice President - Social Impact
I am a multidisciplinary researcher with ten years of experience in academia and consulting across private and public sector organisations. I started my academic path with international and European relations, continuing with European policies and communications to find out I love research with people but in an innovative way! As a result, I took a turn towards technology by completing a Ph.D. in Human Computer Interaction with a scholarship from University of Nottingham (UK).
For the last five years, I have been leading the UX research strategy and delivery in multiple digital transformation projects working within product teams, mentoring & upskilling interdisciplinary teams on the value of UXR and human-centered design. I bring a blend of experimental design-led research that bridges insight and design into tangible outcomes by deep diving into what people need, want and think across different phases of digital products and services.
As Vice President of Social Impact, I lead the mentoring programme and the non-commercial partnerships of the team, aiming to improve access to knowledge, people and networks when it comes to STEM. It also helps me inspire people to take risks by identifying as a multidisciplinary researcher, who has transitioned to STEM from social sciences.
When I am not on a walk with my partner or playing with our little one, you will find me spending time on my volunteering activities or creative planning. I have a personal planner, which I use to organize my thoughts, set goals, and track my progress. I also enjoy practicing yoga to keep my mind and body grounded. Finally, I always love traveling and experiencing different cultures and food and yes I am one of those cheeky ones that count their visited countries!
