I am an Assistant Professor at the IMDEA Software institute in Madrid, Spain. There I lead the research group “Muse Lab” in the field of Informatics, and more specifically at the intersection of machine learning and computer systems. Before starting my academic career, I completed my Ph.D. studies in 2021 at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, USA and my undergraduate studies in 2015 at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens. In 2020 I was selected to participate at the Rising Stars in EECS (Electrical Engineering and Computer Science) workshop. Alongside research, I participate in various activities related to mentoring, women in STEM, mental health, diversity and inclusion in academia.
At Greek Women in STEM I contribute to the management of the organization's external relations and social media. In this way I try to contribute to the promotion, support and encouragement of women in STEM. I met the team at the symposium they organized in 2022, where I was impressed both by the flawless execution and how friendly and supportive the atmosphere was among the members. That's why I wanted to join the team.
In my spare time I play padel, an easy sport that I really enjoy! I have the opportunity to travel a lot for work and the luck to live and work in a country with a high and pleasant quality of life.
