Katerina Britzolaki Ph.D.
Vice President - External Relations
My name is Katerina Britzolaki, and I am originally from the beautiful island of Crete. Currently, I reside in the United States, where I work as a Senior Project Manager in Scientific Innovation and Strategy for Healthcare and Life Sciences at PreScouter, Inc. My academic journey led me to earn a Ph.D. in Neuroscience and landed me in New York to work as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Cornell University. After a long path in research and driven by an insatiable curiosity and an interdisciplinary mindset, I transitioned into the industry and research consulting. My professional path has allowed me to bridge the gap between scientific discovery and practical application, fostering innovation and strategic development in the healthcare sector. At PreScouter, I am dedicated to facilitating breakthroughs and guiding projects that push the boundaries of science and technology.
In 2022, I joined Greek Women in STEM, motivated by a desire to contribute to meaningful change within my community. As a member of the Executive Board and Vice President of External Relations, I lead the organization's fundraising, corporate partnerships, and marketing initiatives. My personal vision is to empower and inspire other women to discover their passions and career paths, something I deeply valued and often longed for during my own journey. Through my role, I aim to cultivate a supportive environment that nurtures the next generation of STEM leaders.
Outside of my professional and volunteer commitments, I find joy in cooking and baking, spending quality time with loved ones, and exploring new places. These activities provide me with balance and allow me to recharge, fueling my passion for my work and community involvement.
