Mentoring Manager | Science Communication Team

I am a physicist by training who has studied and worked in several international particle accelerator research centers across Europe. After finishing my PhD and working in research for some years as a postdoctoral researcher on the optimisation and design of particle accelerators I decided to change my career path and switch to industry. Currently, I analyse data to optimize the operation of green hydrogen plants used to transform the fluctuating wind and solar energy into a stable power supply.

In Greek Women in STEM I am supporting the pairing process of our mentoring cycles offered by our free mentoring program and I write and edit some of our popular science articles. I joined Greek Women in STEM to meet other brilliant female scientists and to support each other by highlighting healthy role models and creating supportive networks.

Outside work, I love grabbing coffee with my partner and my dog, spending quality time with my loved ones and doing CrossFit with friends to counterbalance the mental work of the day.
